Ventilation
A healthy home includes having clean, fresh air for everyone inside! Often, the air quality in your home can be more polluted than the air outdoors. Without proper ventilation and poor indoor air quality you may suffer from headaches, sinusitis, asthma, or irritate any allergies. It may also cause condensation leading to mold and rot which can lead to respiratory problems for many people.
Every breath you take matters to us at Tri County Heating & Cooling. That’s why we offer quality, reliable heat recovery ventilation systems (HRV’s) to provide you peace of mind while supplying fresh, clean, healthy air to every room in your home.
A ventilation system is a piece of mechanical equipment used to remove moisture, pollutants, and contaminants from your home. Our systems come equipped with heat recovery core technology. This heat recovery core absorbs heat from the outgoing stale air in your home and reheats the fresh incoming air. This helps to condition the air in the winter months, and works in reverse in the summer months, removing heat from incoming air. With this balanced technology you’ll see reduced heating and cooling costs year-round!
These systems are controlled by a wall-mounted dehumidistat, usually located in a moist area (such as the kitchen, bathroom, or laundry room). Some systems may have their controls in the return air supply when a wall control is not permitted.
Our ventilation systems have their own supply and return duct work and can also be connected to your home through the existing duct work in your furnace. They usually have two hoods that penetrate your home, supplying and exhausting the new and old air.
Two of the most common brands of heat recovery ventilation systems (HRV’s) are LifeBreath and Vanee. Both come with lifetime warranty on their heat recovery cores and a five-year parts warranty
